Augustana College to hold basketball summer camp
Head men?s basketball coach Grey Giovanine has announced the dates for his summer basketball camp to be held on the Augustana College campus in Rock Island, Il.
Day camps will be held from June 9-12, June 16-19 and June 23-26. A shooting camp will be held on June 14. Boys from second grade up to 11th grade can attend.

Augustana College to hold basketball summer camp
Head men?s basketball coach Grey Giovanine has announced the dates for his summer basketball camp to be held on the Augustana College campus in Rock Island, Il.
Day camps will be held from June 9-12, June 16-19 and June 23-26. A shooting camp will be held on June 14. Boys from second grade up to 11th grade can attend.
The camps will feature detailed instruction from coaches, along with current Augustana players. All of the camps will include games, competition and contests. Each camper will receive an Augustana basketball T-shirt and a regulation size indoor/outdoor basketball.
The Viking program has enjoyed tremendous success under Giovanine, who?ll soon be entering his 15th season at Augustana. His record is 239-84 (.740) over the last decade, including 132-24 (.846) at home in the Roy J. Carver Center. Since the 2006 season, the Vikings have won four CCIW conference titles and three CCIW conference tournament championships.

Indian Hills disc golf team heading to nationals
OTTUMWA ? For the fifth consecutive year, the Indian Hills Community College disc golf club has earned a spot in the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championship on April 16-19 in South Augusta, South Carolina.
The Warriors qualified for the 40-team championship field based upon their finishes at the Heartland Collegiate Disc Golf Championship in Ottumwa and the Cyclone Open in Ames. Teams qualify based on their performances at regional qualifiers across the United States. There are 60 teams that earned spots at nationals, and the top 40 teams are placed in the championship division.
Indian Hills has been the highest ranked community college in the country the last five years and competes at the national tournament against the top four-year colleges and universities in the country.
