Square dancing lessons for beginners start Monday

Modern western square dance lessons for beginners will start Monday and continue through April 21 at the Fairfield Eagles Club.

During the 10-week session, lessons will be held from 8-9 p.m. on Mondays. Participants should use the north door at the far end of the building.

Participants should arrive 15 minutes early to the first class on Monday to sign up. No experience or partner is necessary to participate.

The cost is $35 per person, with checks payable to Fairfield Square Dance.

The session is followed by another 10-week session to complete the whole set of basic and mainstream calls.

According to Sarvani Viger-Edson, this is the last class for beginner square dance lessons until fall.
