St. Mary parish celebrates priest?s 25th anniversay
The Rev. Stephen C. Page, pastor of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Fairfield, is celebrating 25 years as a priest for the Diocese of Davenport.
Celebratory Masses of Thanksgiving will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday, with a potluck dinner following Saturday?s Mass and a brunch following Mass on Sunday in the parish hall.
The Rev. Thomas Noeson, O.P., will be the guest homilist.

Page was born in Davenport and grew up in Bettendorf. He completed his master?s of divinity at St. Paul Seminary in St. Paul, Minn.
On June 19, 1987, he was ordained by the Most Rev. Bishop Gerald O?Keefe at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport.
Page has served temporarily at St. Mary in Grinnell; at St. Paul the Apostle, Davenport; and also at Our Lady of Lourdes in Bettendorf. At the latter two parishes he was parochial vicar.
His first pastorate was at St. Bridget in Victor, 1991-96; he also was appointed as parish administrator of St. Patrick Church in Marengo, 1995-96.
He has been assigned to St. Mary in Fairfield since 1996.
Page has served on several Diocesan leadership committees: St. Vincent Charity Board for Children and Families, Diocesan Vocation Board, the Priest Senate, the Diocesan Building Commission and as chaplain for the Boy Scouts.
