State Fair livestock information and entries available online

All 2016 Iowa State Fair 4-H livestock and horticulture entries must be completed online through member?s 4hOnline accounts. Any 4-H member wishing to exhibit livestock at the State Fair must complete the entry process online by July 1. Help sheets are available for those entries at http://www.extension.iastate.edu/4h/statefair/livestock. These must be entered by July 1. Payments must be sent to the Washington County Extension Office by July 1 with checks addressed to the Iowa State Fair.

Each 4-H state fair livestock exhibitor will receive one ticket free of charge from the Extension Office, but any additional youth tickets, adult tickets, or parking permits must be ordered by July 20 for discounted prices from the Iowa State Fair. Premium books and entry forms are no longer being mailed to exhibitors. All planning to participate are responsible for reading materials on the State Fair Livestock webpage http://www.extension.iastate.edu/4h/statefair/livestock.
