A traffic accident at 9:58 a.m. Saturday in Jefferson County resulted in personal injury to the driver, Courtney B. Reid, 20, of Fairfield. She was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt west on 155th Street, lost control about a quarter mile east of Highway 1 and rolled into the north ditch. The vehicle came to rest on its top. A traffic accident at 9:58 a.m. Saturday in Jefferson County resulted in personal injury to the driver, Courtney B. Reid, 20, of Fairfield. She was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt west on 155th Street, lost control about a quarter mile east of Highway 1 and rolled into the north ditch. The vehicle came to rest on its top. The driver was transported to Jefferson County Health Center by ambulance. The accident remains under investigation and charges are pending. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office, Fairfield Police Department, Fairfield Fire Department and Midwest Ambulance Service.
