The Stockport Library?s summer reading program will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and July 23 at the library. The theme, ?Fizz, Boom, Read,? is based on robots and science projects. Children sign a reading contract and read books suited to their reading level to fulfill their part of the program.

An Old-Time Country Music Jam will be 1:30-4 p.m. Sunday in the Heritage Estates?s community room. Bring acoustical instruments and join in or just come and enjoy the music. A free-will donation will be taken to help defray costs. For information, call Wayne Keller at 319-796-2130.
