The Stockport City Council has changed the time city hall is open for business. As of Monday, the new hours are from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.

The American Cancer Society?s Daffodil Days are under way. Anyone who wishes to order daffodils, must place their orders by Friday by calling Barbara Giberson at 319-796-4382. The daffodils will be delivered between March 11-15.

An Old-Tyme music jam is planned from 1:30-4 pm. Sunday in the Heritage Estates Community Room.

Everyone is invited to bring their instruments and play acoustical music or just come and enjoy the fellowship and music. A freewill offering will be collected.

The Heritage Estates is the former Stockport school at the end of Beswick Street.

The Stockport Library will not be open Monday due to Presidents? Day. It will be open again from 3-6 p.m. Feb. 20.

The Stockport bank and the post office will be closed Monday due to Presidents? Day. They will re-open on Tuesday.

The Stockport Public Library Board will meet at 6 p.m. Feb. 20 at the library.

A  Ladies Get Away is is planned March 1-2 at the Heritage Estates Event Center.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. March 1 and runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 2.

Women are invited to attend for time in music, ministry, and God?s word.
