Spencer Cemetery trustees will be removing all decorations that are in bad shape or not attached so mowing can continue. Decorations anyone wishes to keep should be removed before Tuesday.

Volunteers are needed to raise and lower the Avenue of Flags for July Fourth. Meet at the city hall garage at 7 a.m. and again at 4 p.m.

Birmingham Library Board will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the library.

The Birmingham Library will have two reading programs in July.

Children ages 3-12 years old will meet from 1-2 p.m. on Saturdays in July for crafts and reading.

Children in fouth-grade and up can participate in a themed readathon 7-8 p.m. on Mondays. July 7, wear pajamas and bring a snack. Popcorn and water will be available.

The Rebekah Circle will not meet in July or August.
