Storm Spotter class Tuesday
A free National Weather Service School, sponsored by Jefferson County Emergency Management, the National Weather Service and the Fairfield Elks Lodge, is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Elks Lodge.

A free National Weather Service School, sponsored by Jefferson County Emergency Management, the National Weather Service and the Fairfield Elks Lodge, is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Elks Lodge.
Attendees will gain a wealth of weather information. They will learn about weather trend changes and see examples of various weather patterns and learn what to expect from them. The class also includes descriptions of what storms have done in the past.
If interested, people who attend the class are qualified to be official Storm Spotters with the National Weather Service.
An elevator is available in the Elks Lodge just behind the steps if needed.
