Striegel joins Washington hospital

Washington County Hospital and Clinics has announced that BeLinda Striegel, ARNP has joined the medical team as the Long Term Care Provider at WCHC. BeLinda will serve our local nursing home residents.

'We are pleased to welcome BeLinda to our team of primary care providers,” stated Todd Patterson, Chief Executive Officer at WCHC. 'BeLinda will be specifically serving the long term care residents in our community. She will serve her patients and their families well; guiding them through complex health issues and manage care options collaborating with interdisciplinary providers.”

BeLinda received her Masters of Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA. She has more than 30 years of valuable experience as a Nurse, Nurse Educator, and Nurse Practitioner in long term care, hospital and clinic settings. Most recently BeLinda served as a primary care provider at the Birmingham Clinic for Van Buren County Hospital. She is certified by the American Diabetes Association as a Diabetes Nurse Educator and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Iowa Nurse Practitioner Society, North American Menopause Society, Obesity Medicine Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

WCHC's Long Term Care Provider serves residents of Pearl Valley Rehabilitation, United Presbyterian Home, and Halcyon House in Washington as well as Parkview Home in Wayland, Parkview Manor in Wellman, and Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction. BeLinda will provide on-site quick sick visits, medication reviews, and management of on-going health issues.
