Zeb Fisher receives his American Degree in Louisville, Ky., on Nov. 1. This is the National FFA organization?s highest honor that one can apply for and receive. Only 0.5 percent of all FFA members ever receive this degree. Zeb traveled to the National FFA convention held this year in Louisville, Ky., to receive his degree. A record number of 3,765 FFA members were awarded the American Degree this year, with 145 members from Iowa.
Zeb is the son of Duane and Vicky Fisher of West Chester, and a big brother of Zane and Zoe. Zeb?s family traveled to Louisville to attend the convention with him.
Zeb was a 2013 graduate of Mid-Prairie. He is a sophomore at Iowa State University, majoring in ag communications.
