Student selected for All-State band
Emily Meader, Mid-Prairie HIgh School senior, was selected for the Iowa All-State concert band at auditions on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Washington High School.
Meader will be one of only six baritone saxophone players in the state of Iowa to play in the Iowa All-State concert band. The All-State concert is on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. The concert starts at 7:30 pm.
