Student to perform with symphony
Rachel Gibbons, senior at Burlington High School, will be performing a cello solo with the Southeast Iowa Symphony this weekend in Burlington, Ottumwa and Mount Pleasant.
Rachel is the daughter of Rodney and Kimberley Gibbons of Burlington and granddaughter of Helen Kurtz of Brighton. She was the winner of the Marilyn Minford McCoid Young Artist Competion held in December. She will perform "Hungarian Rhapsody" by ...
