Students chose for SEIBA Honor Band

Three New London Community School District music students were chosen to the 2019 Southeast Iowa Bandmasters Association Honor Band based on auditions on Saturday, Jan. 5, at Fairfield High School. Selected were Allyson Farley, Alex Hedgecock and Ryan McLerran. The SEIBA Honor Band Concert will be at Iowa City West High School on Saturday, Jan. 19. The students will rehearse with guest conductors during the afternoon, and give an evening concert. The junior high bands will present their concert at 5 p.m., followed b the high school bands at 6 p.m.
