Students of month honored at Fairfield Middle School
Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School ?Students of the Month? award to acknowledge positive contributions of FMS students at school.

Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School ?Students of the Month? award to acknowledge positive contributions of FMS students at school.
These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom. The Students of the Month certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade level teaching team.
Ashley Bloomquist is the fifth grade girl student of the month for February. Her certificate states she is ?an all around great student. She participates in class and strives to do her best. Ashley gets her homework done and turned in on time and consistently has her assignment journal signed. She works well with other students and is always willing to help someone. Most importantly Ashley shows her Trojan PRIDE.? She is respectful in every situation and is depended on in class to be a leader.
Lee Winn has been selected as the fifth-grade boy student of the month. His certificate states: ?He is a team player in the classroom and willingly helps out his classmates when necessary. He is always doing little things to help out, such as cleaning up and straightening the classroom. When watching Lee, he demonstrates Trojan PRIDE, which makes it a pleasure to have him as a role model in the classroom.?
Peyton Manley has been selected as the sixth-grade girl student of the month. Her certificate states: ?Peyton has shown a strong work ethic and a focus that makes her a very reliable part of the sixth grade.Her example of focus, maturity and responsibility in and out of the classroom makes her a great example of what Trojan PRIDE is all about. Each day, Peyton comes to class prepared [with] a willingness to be challenged. Peyton also shows an eagerness to learn and a willingness to help her fellow students.?
Kolten Webber is the sixth-grade boy student of the month for February. His certificate states: ?Kolten is a leader in the classroom who strives to do his best in all of his class work as well as his extra-curricular activities. Kolten has a great sense of humor and always brings a spark to many classroom discussions. Kolten is a very respectful student who also shows great integrity in his actions. Kolten works extremely well with others and brings a positive attitude with him every day.?
Kelly Lacey has been chosen as February?s seventh-grade girl student of the month. Her certificate states: ?Kelly is a sweet girl who works extremely hard in the classroom. She enters the room with a smile on her face and a willingness to do well. Kelly works great in groups and is enthusiastic about any project that comes her way. Kelly?s easy-going disposition and sense of humor make her a fun student to have in class.?
Tommy Hampton is the seventh grade boy student of the month. His certificate states: ?Tommy works extremely hard in the classroom and is always willing to go the extra mile. He?s extremely conscientious and consistently puts forth exceptional work. Tommy is an asset to the groups he works in and leads by example. His fun-living nature is one of the many reasons he has been chosen as student of the month.?
Amber Manning is the eigth-grade girl student of the month. Her certificate states she ?is a ray of sunshine in every classroom. She always has a smile on her face and a positive word for others. She works hard on assignments, loves learning new things and is dependable in group work. Amber never hesitates to stand up for what she believes or to come to the aid of a friend in need.?
Ryan Blakely is the eighth-grade boy student of the month. His certificate states: ?Ryan is a quiet leader in and out of the classroom. He is an excellent student, who always sets a good example for others. Ryan is the picture of Trojan PRIDE.?
