Students at Pekin Middle School held a 9/11 memorial in social studies class Tuesday, making paper chains to honor those who lost their life during the 2001 attack on the World Trade Center. ?Each link on the chain is a name of someone who lost their life that day,? said social studies teacher Ashley Bartels. ?There are 2,819 total names.?
