Summer fun is right outside with HC Conservation youth programs

Summer is in full swing and the Henry County Conservation Department has many opportunities to get outside.

There is still space in the youth overnight camps. Out of Bedrock camp is a chance to stay in the new cabins as well as learn about dinosaurs through team building competitions! Boys will have the opportunity on July 8 and girls on July 11. Deadlines for each camp are a week before the start date.

There are many new events being hosted by our AmeriCorps member: movie nights at the Oakland Mills Nature Center; campground programs will be featured- and aren't just for registered campers; and there are even a few education programs to be held at Saunders Park.
