The City of Morning Sun has once again partnered with Louisa County Conservation to bring your children some summertime fun! Summer Rec is free and open to all kids entering K-6th grade. This summer the theme is “Pollinators”.
Come learn, explore, and play at Summer Rec from July 18-22 from 9:00am – 12:00 pm at Locust Grove Park. This session is recommended for kids entering K-2nd grade but all kids K-6 are welcome. Participants will explore the buzz about bees and butterflies by playing games, making crafts, reading stories, and exploring the outdoors. A snack is provided during Summer Rec each day.
Participants must have a signed permission form to attend. Forms should be turned in on their first day. They are available online at our website, at the Morning Sun Library or City Hall, or can be filled out upon arrival at Summer Rec.
For questions contact Louisa County Conservation at 319-523-8381, email conservation@louisacountyia.gov, or check out our website at LouisaCountyConservation.org. Summer Rec is sponsored by the City of Morning Sun and provided by Louisa County Conservation.
