Tuesday, May 13, 7 a.m. to noon: JT’s Sips will be set up in the front parking lot for customers to stop by and get their favorite drinks or try something new!
10 a.m.: Fishing Trip and Picnic at Marr Park! We have Mary Marr Lodge reserved so there will be shelter, plenty of tables, close restrooms, and easy access to the fishing dock. We will take lunch for everyone, and fishing gear is being provided. If you can join us, please let us know so that we can assure we pack enough lunch. We plan to leave Sunrise AT 10:00 and arrive at Marr Park around 10:30. You can caravan over with us or meet us there. Some of our former “fishermen/women’’ are very excited for this event and it is a great chance to make more treasured memories with your loved ones or help them relive some of their favorite memories. You don’t have to be a fisherman to go. The scenery is beautiful! And food always tastes better outdoors.
Wednesday, May 14, 5-7 p.m.: Tailgate Party in the front parking lot. The Onion Shoppe food truck will be set up to take orders for sandwiches and sides. Sunrise will provide free drinks, chips, and desserts. There will be a Bounce House, tattoos, balloon animals, and games for the kids. It has been LOTS of fun in the past!
Thursday, May 15: 2:30 p.m.: WMU Band to perform. Come listen to the kids share their musical talent. 3:00 Kicking off a new monthly program-Munching with Melissa. A demo with samples.
Friday, May 16, 2 p.m.: Ice Cream Sundae Bar to wind up the week, followed by a new musical entertainer, Aaron Lotzow at 3:00.
We hope to see many of our family and friends over the week! It is an excellent opportunity to check out all Sunrise has to offer!
