The Swedish Heritage Society invites the public to come explore Iowa history and stories with one of the state?s most prolific researchers and writers, Linda McCann. McCann has traveled and spoken to hundreds of individuals and groups about the history and narrative of Iowa, what still is here to photograph and research, as well as what has been lost to time.
On Monday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m., she will be discussing C.C.C. in Southeast Iowa at the Swedish-American Museum. Books will be available to purchase and be signed.
The Swedish Heritage Society business meeting will follow the evening program.
