Swim camp disrupts lap lanes at Fairfield pool

Use of the lap lanes at Fairfield's Roosevelt Community Recreation Center outdoor pool will be interrupted by swim camp.
According to the Fairfield Park and Recreation website, no lap lanes will be available from 10 a.m. to noon through Thursday, Aug. 8.
The swim camp for seventh- through 12th-graders started Monday, Aug. 5.
The outdoor pool is normally open for lap swimming from 7-11 a.m. Members of Park and Rec with an indoor pool membership can lap swim in the outdoor pool during these times at no extra cost.
A fee is charged for nonmembers.
