Swimming lessons start Feb. 25 at Roosevelt Aquatic Center

The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department is taking registration for swimming lessons set to begin Feb. 25 at the Roosevelt Aquatic Center.

Session 1 classes are for Beginner 1 swimmers, who can go under the water without help. They will work on front float, back float and start working on the American crawl.

Session 2 classes are for Advanced Beginners, who will work on the back crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke and diving.

Both sessions will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays Feb. 25 through March 6. Session 1 meets from 4-4:30 p.m., and Session 2 meets from 4:30-5 p.m.

The cost is $20.
