Synthesis, Brigham Young University?s award-winning instrumental jazz ensemble, will perform from 7:30-9 p.m. Saturday at Roberts Memorial Center in Keosauqua.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for the free performance sponsored by the Keosauqua Chamber.
Chris Bennett Jr. will be selling cookies and finger foods as a fundraiser for an Eagle Scout project in a local park.

Synthesis? repertoire combines swing, jazz, blues, rock, fusion, gospel, and Latin styles. The public is welcome to sit and enjoy the music or to dance.
The event was made possible by Historic Nauvoo, Illinois, which provided the entertainers, and by the support of the Keosauqua Lions, Greef General Store, Community First Bank and the organizing committee.
