T.T.T. Chapter D.L./Washington May meeting minutes

Fourteen members of T.T.T. Chapter D.L. / Washington met on May 13, 2019 at the home of Robyn Lamb. Karen Gordon was co-hostess.

Julie Timmins attended the 71st Annual Iowa State T.T.T. Convention in Coralville on April 13, 2019. She reported in 2018 there were 90 new TTT members in Iowa. Each chapter is challenged to add 2 new members this year. A new chapter has been started in Sioux City with 18 members. The Biannual National Convention will be October 25-26, 2019 at the Marriott in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The next State Convention will be March 27-28, 2020 in Grinnell, Iowa.

Linda McNeil reported our 2019 campers are: Jaedyn Moore, Destiny Moyer, Noelle Starr, and Giselle Valaguez. They finish school on June 7 and leave for camp on Sunday, June 9th. They return from camp on Friday, June 14th. We have had wonderful cooperation from the parents.

The girls are looking forward to attending T.T.T. camp.

Phyllis Eisele suggested we go to Farmers Market in June to expand our nut sales. Several members offered to help. Phyllis will make the arrangements.

Their next meeting will be August 12, 2019 at the Washington County Hospital Nicola Conference Room. Linda McNeil will make the arrangements. Julie Mangold will be co-hostess. The 2019 campers will be invited to this meeting to report on camp.
