T.T.T. Society meets in Wayland

Eight members of the T.T.T. Society’s Chapter Iowa J of Wayland met Tuesday evening, July 26 at Your Choice Restaurant in Wayland for their regular July meeting. Special guest for the evening was Iowa State President Barb Brown.

President Georgia Fort called the meeting to order and Recording Secretary Tracy Hill took roll call. Treasurer Lori Messer gave her report and it was accepted and filed for audit. Georgia announced our chapter will work a tip night Aug. 1 at Mt. Pleasant Pizza Ranch.

It was reported that our chapter bylaws and Standing Rules have been reviewed and approved by State Parliamentarian Laura Curran.

State President Barb Brown had a list of items that she went over with the chapter. And a time for conversation and questions.

The meeting recessed and all enjoyed dinner and visiting. The chapter presented Mrs. Brown with a small gift and thanked her for her time with us and invited her to come visit anytime.

After dinner, the meeting resumed. August is a vacation month with no meeting. Next regular meeting will be Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Wayland Community Center.
