Taking the Spirit of Christmas into the New Year

Well, here it is the day after Christmas, a day when we have celebrated God's great gift to mankind. It has been celebrated all over the world and in many different ways. Now as we put away the lights, look back at the times we spent with family, friends, loved ones and rejoice at the many blessings that we have received, do we also just lay up Christmas until next year, or do we let it and what it means continue to live in our hearts? In the Bible, John 10:10 it says that Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. This is also what Christmas brings to us when we look to Him and realize the preciousness of Christ's birth and the meaning it has for us.
We will be entering into another year in just a few more days, and we can look back at this year and see what it had for us, the good times, the bad times, and as we look forward to another year, I think it would be a very good resolution for us to let the Spirit of Christmas and the love and care for each other be our guiding light for the next year and for the rest of the time. I believe it would make the New Year a happy and prosperous one.
May you have a very blessed and Happy New Year.
