Teen injured in ATV accident
A Wayland teen was injured in an ATV accident in Jefferson Township April 17, according to the Henry County Sheriff?s office.
Matthew W. Hannan, 19, Wayland, was operating a 2010 Honda Rancher ATV on private property and climbing a hill when the unit began to flip over backwards.
Hannan jumped clear of the unit only to be struck by the unit once it rolled down the hall. He was transported to the Washington ...

A Wayland teen was injured in an ATV accident in Jefferson Township April 17, according to the Henry County Sheriff?s office.
Matthew W. Hannan, 19, Wayland, was operating a 2010 Honda Rancher ATV on private property and climbing a hill when the unit began to flip over backwards.
Hannan jumped clear of the unit only to be struck by the unit once it rolled down the hall. He was transported to the Washington County Hospital and Clinics and later to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics by private vehicle for treatment of injuries he sustained.
The ATV, owned by Kyle R. Carlson of Wayland, sustained minor damage.
