This exciting, energetic trio will take the stage at Washington Community Theater Tuesday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m. to entertain people in Washington. This great entertainment is brought to you by the Washington Concert Association, which continues to provide not only occasional serious classical concerts, but also just plain fun, entertaining programs.
Alex began performing at age 6 with the family band. His musical education, besides concentrating on accordion, included time on drums, bass and trumpet, which actually was his college major. This instrumental versatility is combined with a musical background that has included intense studies and performances with some of the leading artists in the world.
The Alex Meixner band is a sure-fire crowd pleaser, especially for family and senior audiences. He works tirelessly to involve the audience in his performances. He is also devoted to bringing music to students through educational clinics. Alex will be performing for Washington Community School music students at the Middle School during the afternoon on April 26, thanks to support of Washington County Riverboat Foundation.
