Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church will present the fourth of their four-concert series for 2017 on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. Take a faith break before the Labor Day weekend!
David and Kris Garms with six of their children ? Ben, Taylor, Leesha, Sam, Jayme, and Caleb ? count it a privilege to minister to fellow Christians and invite the seeking to believe in Jesus as their Savior. Since their simple beginnings of singing hymns in the living room to the release of multiple CDs, The Garms Family has been blessed to sing at a variety of churches, festivals, and events. They travel full-time, sharing the Gospel through their beautiful harmonies and solid instrumentation.
Their tours have brought them to Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Kentucky, Georgia and Florida. This home schooled family loves to work as a team, and their joy as family overflows as they sing and play together. They weave Southern Gospel, gospel bluegrass, and their own unique musical style to create a memorable concert experience, and each song is an adventure as they play over 20 instruments on stage.
Their smiles, gospel music, and the message of Jesus Christ will brighten your day, give you hope for tomorrow, and leave you inspired. You will be blessed and encouraged, moved to laughter and tears, and your soul will be directed heavenward by this anointed family.
Wesley Chapel is located at 2151 200th Street, Mt. Pleasant. The building is air-conditioned and handicap accessible, with plenty of parking available. A free will offering will be taken for the concert. After the concert, Wesley Chapel will serve light refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome!
