The Lord’s Cupboard serving clients in ‘no-contact manner’

The Lord's Cupboard of Jefferson County is the Emergency Food Pantry for the county, located at 303 N. 4th Street in Fairfield. Low-income residents of Jefferson County are encouraged to utilize The Lord's Cupboard to help restock their supplies during this difficult time. With the number of Covid-19 cases still rising in Iowa, The Lord's Cupboard is serving clients in a no-contact manner, by appointment only. Clients and donors may make an appointment by clicking the blue 'Book Now” button at the top of the Facebook page, or by going to www.LordsCupboard.org. Appointment holders should enter the parking lot from Grimes Avenue and come to the open window next to the garage door to be served. There is also delivery available on a limited basis to those who are homebound or have no transportation.
Donations of food (within its date) are always accepted at The Lord's Cupboard. The food pantry is currently open and serving on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons.
The mission statement and goal for the Lord's Cupboard of Jefferson County, Iowa is to help fight hunger by supplying emergency food assistance to those in need.
