The unexpected requires faith
My dad used to come home and say to my stepmother, ?Sherry, pull out some extra meat. We?re having a barbeque.?
That meant company.
Then he would start directing the four of us girls while he made homemade barbeque sauce.
He would have all of us running to prepare for a big meal while my stepmother kept asking, ?Walter, are you sure there will be enough??
