Abdo spent time as a child in Mt. Pleasant. She worked at her family business, Abdo?s Garden Market and as a Doula.

Abdo; seven children, Tai (Joey Bell) Wandling; Casey (Marsha) Wandling; Sundday Bishop; Sean Abdo; Shane Abdo; Eric Abdo; Tashina (Rich) Abdo-Trout; six sisters, Charlene (Bob) Zylstra; Berry (Dave) Millington; Barbara (Bob) Haskins; Tami (Mike) Sommerfeldt; Tracy Olson; Tara (Mark) Coffey; and six grandchildren.
