Student from Washington High School: Adam Todd attended ? Jazz Camp: Rhythm Section? June 19, 2014, at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. The concentrated camp is a one-day camp open to students entering grades seven through 12 in the fall, who play piano, guitar, bass (acoustic or electric), percussion, or drum set. Attendees enjoyed a full day of clinics, workshops, individual lessons, and group playing. The students focused on fundamentals of accompaniment, styles, and techniques, and concluded with a performance by all who attended. The camp included professional musician and educators: Jason Danielson, Steven Grismore, David Altemeier, and Dennis McPartland.
