Three hospitalized following head-on collision
SALEM ? A pair of Salem residents and a Winfield man were injured Aug. 13 in a head-on collision at the junction of Salem Road and Graham Avenue.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Markus Isaiah Titus, 24, Winfield, was operating a 2003 Chrysler eastbound on the Salem Road near Graham Avenue.
Jordan Patrick Nichting, 20, Salem, was westbound on the Salem road, driving a 2001 Dodge.

SALEM ? A pair of Salem residents and a Winfield man were injured Aug. 13 in a head-on collision at the junction of Salem Road and Graham Avenue.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Markus Isaiah Titus, 24, Winfield, was operating a 2003 Chrysler eastbound on the Salem Road near Graham Avenue.
Jordan Patrick Nichting, 20, Salem, was westbound on the Salem road, driving a 2001 Dodge.
For some unknown reason, Titus? vehicle crossed the centerline, hitting Nichting?s vehicle head-on.
Both vehicles came to rest on the Salem Road.
Titus and Nichting were taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics via med force helicopter with unknown injuries.
Kajohnique Wamer, 17, a passenger in the Nichting vehicle was taken to the Henry County Health Center by ambulance.
The accident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
