Tickets available for 'Children of Eden'

Tickets for ?Children of Eden,? Fairfield Area Community Theater?s summer family musical, are now on sale at the Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts box office.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for students and children. The cast of nearly 60 people is directed by Scott Slechta with music direction by Jim Edgeton.

?Children of Eden? with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by John Caird, is a musical based on the Genesis stories of the creation and Noah?s ark, emphasizing the family stories of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel and the family of Noah. Though not as familiar as his other works, which include ?Godspell,? ?Pippin? and ?Wicked,? composer Schwartz claims the score of ?Children of Eden? as his personal favorite. Audiences can enjoy the familiar story, the creative costumes, the touching music, and the vibrant family atmosphere of the show.

F.A.C.T. will produce ?Children of Eden? in the air-conditioned new Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. June 18, June 19 and June 20 with a final Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. June 21.
