Tiger baseball swept by Spalding, Monmouth

MONMOUTH, Ill. ? It has been a rough four-game stretch for the Iowa Wesleyan baseball team over the last few days.
On Saturday, the Tigers fell in back-to-back games against Spalding University, 6-1 and 4-1.
The Tiger offense played better on Monday on the road against Monmouth, but they were lit up on the defensive side of the ball, dropping games 13-3 and 19-3.

MONMOUTH, Ill. ? It has been a rough four-game stretch for the Iowa Wesleyan baseball team over the last few days.
On Saturday, the Tigers fell in back-to-back games against Spalding University, 6-1 and 4-1.
The Tiger offense played better on Monday on the road against Monmouth, but they were lit up on the defensive side of the ball, dropping games 13-3 and 19-3.
IW dropped to 2-7 in conference play with the losses to Spalding. Monday?s games dropped the team to 8-15 overall.
The Tigers will have the chance to get back to their winning ways in the SLIAC today (Tuesday) in Elsah, Ill., weather willing.
IW is scheduled for a doubleheader against Principia College, a team the Tigers split with last season.
If the spring weather allows it, the Tigers and Panthers will start their doubleheader at 3 p.m.
