Tom Arnold to be guest at IHCC Celebrity Night

OTTUMWA ? Tickets are being sold for Tom Arnold?s appearance at Indian Hills Community College?s annual Celebrity Night.
The event is slated for March 26 in the Tom Arnold Net Center on the IHCC Ottumwa campus.
The event will be the 33rd annual Celebrity Night at IHCC. Celebrity Night is one of three major fundraisers each year for the IHCC Foundation. All proceeds are used to fund student scholarships at the college. The evening will include a rededication of the net center, which has undergone a major renovation since its inception. Arnold contributed greatly to the initial funding of the building which bears his name.
Arnold is an Ottumwa native and a writer, producer and actor in more than 120 films, including ?True Lies? and ?Nine Months? and TV shows such as ?Sons of Anarchy.? He has established himself on both television and film screens worldwide and has won both Peabody and Golden Globe awards.
Arnold began his career in comedy at the University of Iowa. He eventually moved to Los Angeles to write on the highly successful TV series ?Roseanne? before serving as executive producer for the sitcom.
He has been a donor to IHCC, has established a scholarship in his name at the college and also has hosted an acting workshop for IHCC students.
The Celebrity Night schedule includes a social time with an opportunity to meet Arnold at 5:30 p.m., followed by a prime rib and seafood dinner at 6:30 p.m., the rededication ceremony and remarks by Arnold.
