Tony Webb, a member of St. Mary Knights of Columbus, presents a donation of $1,271.94 to Mary Coffin, president of The Arc of Jefferson and Nearby Counties. Webb is chairman of the Knights of Columbus annual Tootsie Roll project held in August. This donation represents 90 percent of the profits from sales. Webb is chairman of the Knights of Columbus annual Tootsie Roll project held in August. This donation represents 90 percent of the profits from sales. The remaining 10 percent supports Iowa Special Olympics through the state Knights of Columbus organization. The local Knights of Columbus have conducted the Tootsie Roll event for 39 years, donating proceeds each year to The Arc, with a total of $49,000 in donations over the years to support individuals with mental disabilities.
