Traveling photo memorial of Iowa’s fallen on display in Riverside

RIVERSIDE - A memorial, Remembering Our Fallen, is a stark reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by 91 Fallen from Iowa killed in The War on Terror while wearing the country's uniform in a war zone. The photo memorial, which includes military and personal photos of each of Iowa's Fallen, is traveling throughout the state and will be coming to Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in Riverside, on Nov. 7. There is no admission charge thanks to Riverside Casino & Golf Resort for financially sponsoring this memorial.

This memorial, and 14 other state memorials, representing 60 percent of the country's fallen since 9/11, have been created by Patriotic Productions, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. A national traveling memorial also has been created and includes the fallen from every state. This national memorial was unveiled in Washington, D.C. last September.
