Trenton United Methodist hosting chili supper Sunday

TRENTON - Trenton United Methodist Church will host a chili supper and silent auction Sunday, Nov. 3, from 5-7 p.m. Just in time for cooler weather and at the end of a long day - following the time change - join us for a delicious chili supper, with sides. Half the proceeds from the freewill offering will be used to provide winterwear for children and other people in Henry County.

Displayed for the silent auction, you may find an interesting gift basket or box that would be fun to give, or maybe to use yourself. Past baskets have included home-raised beef, tickets, snacks, homemade treats, cozy warm blankets, snow removal, private dinners, home-canned foods, and college team clothing. We can't imagine the surprises this year, but don't be late, because the bidding closes at 6:30 p.m.

We are still celebrating 125 years, and are still having fun! All people are welcome to join us for supper and bid in the auction. The church building is fully accessible, with plenty of free parking. Come enjoy supper and share some warmth with neighbors for the winter.
