How will your high school experiences help you in coming years? Being kind to everyone, and making good friends.
Fondest memory of high school? Winning Homecoming King with a friend since preschool, and returning to band this senior year.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? Mr. Peterson. He took the time and helped me when I was really struggling with certain sections of Calculus. He made math fun. He helped me realize I want to go into engineer. And Mr. Hughes, he guided me through some emotional stuff, and I have more opportunities with my trombone due to his help.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My role model is my grandpa. Hardworking and a slow temper. I also look like him so that is also a factor.
What is special about your high school? I would say the wonderful community in the activities. I have had a lovely experience in the performing arts and the bowling team.
If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? As cliché as it sounds, I would say don’t give in to peer pressure. I would also say don’t be afraid to try new activities. I have had so much fun in activities I was too afraid to try as an underclassmen. Lastly, I would say to not be afraid to ask for help. Over 90 percent of the time, the teacher will help you.
