Trojan girls advance in team tennis
The Fairfield girls? tennis team advanced to the regional final of Class 1A team tennis with dual wins over Oskaloosa and Albia Saturday in Fairfield.
The Trojans girls rallied past Oskaloosa 5-4 in the opening round of regional play on the Fairfield Middle School courts. Later in the day, the host team cruised to a 5-1 victory over Albia in the second round.

The Fairfield girls? tennis team advanced to the regional final of Class 1A team tennis with dual wins over Oskaloosa and Albia Saturday in Fairfield.
The Trojans girls rallied past Oskaloosa 5-4 in the opening round of regional play on the Fairfield Middle School courts. Later in the day, the host team cruised to a 5-1 victory over Albia in the second round.
The Trojans are now headed to Fort Madison to play Keokuk in the regional final round next Saturday. The winner of the final advances to the first round of state competition on Tuesday, May 21.
