Trojan Superstars

The December Trojan Superstars are those who exemplify Trojan Traits (Respectful, Responsible and Safe) in and out of the classroom. We are honored to recognize these leaders within each class.
2T- Dagin Mondia is my December Trojan Superstar for 2T!!! He comes in every day with a smile and ready to learn. He works so hard and has really grown this year! He is a kind friend to others and will always include anyone to play. He even brought his favorite football and shared it with anyone out at recess. He works hard in math and has great strategies to share! He even challenges himself to even harder strategies and shares those ideas with the group! I am so proud of Dagin and what a leader he is in the classroom! Way to go, Dagin! What a great Trojan Superstar you are!
2H- Abbie Hammes is the December Trojan Superstar for 2H! She is sweet, kind and loves to have fun and joke around. She knows what the expectations are anywhere she goes throughout the building. She happens to be the first one in our line order and does an awesome job of leading our class and setting a great example for her classmates. I can always count on Abbie to try her very hardest on anything she is working on. She is a great role model on the playground, at the carpet, in the classroom, the hallway, anywhere we go, I can look to Abbie to be making good choices and being kind. Keep up the great work, Abbie! Proud of you!
2B-Thuy Mai is the December Trojan Superstar for 2B. Thuy has been a wonderful addition to Pence Elementary this year. She is kind and respectful to all students and adults. She is always willing to work with everyone, and shows respect by being a good listener and a good friend. She demonstrates responsibility by making sure her homework is turned in on time, and participates in class discussions. Thuy also shows good Trojan traits by working hard outside of class. She always accepts any challenges in a positive manner. Thuy is a hard worker and always tries her very best. She is a positive role model for other students by always following the school rules. Keep up the good work, Thuy! You are truly a Trojan Super Star!
2J- Delaney Ward is the Trojan Superstar for 2J. Delaney is a wonderful example of someone who uses their Trojan Traits throughout the day. She works hard to complete all of her work and is always showing her best work. She is very engaged in our lessons and adds amazing ideas to our classroom discussions. She works well with her peers and is willing to help when questions arise. She is very responsible and is ready for our classroom activities. She brings her supplies and makes sure to clean up all materials when she is done. Delaney is eager to volunteer to help complete extra tasks in the classroom. I am so proud of all the hard work Delaney does each day! Keep it up!
2M- Alexis Mallinger is this month Trojan Trait Superstar for 2M. Alexis has done a great job becoming more responsible for her participation during class. She does a great job joining in on class discussion and making sure that her assignments are completed. Alexis is amazingly respectful to all of her classmates. She does a wonderful job of helping students who don't understand something. Alexis has a great way of explaining the concept to them and walking them through it without giving them the answer or telling them what to do. She is very patient when helping these classmates and will try to explain it again until the student gets it. I am proud of the growth Alexis has shown this month! Great job!
3H- The 3H Trojan Superstar for December is Noah Tesfay. We are so glad Noah joined us at Pence this year. He is respectful to all his classmates and works well on group projects or independently. Noah is responsible for his own learning by giving his best effort on all of his work and asking for help when he doesn't understand something. Noah plays safely on the playground and invites others to play with him. We are all impressed at how well Noah speaks English after only living in the United States since February. He has worked very hard to improve his reading this year. Noah is a great example of Trojan Traits in 3H!
3He- McKenna Stacy is 3He's Trojan Superstar for December! McKenna is a compassionate leader who puts other people's needs before her own. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is properly cared for and treated with respect. We appreciate McKenna showing up everyday with a listening ear and proactive mind-set. Her positive attitude and comforting presence keeps our classroom grounded when things get messy and challenging. She is a considerate friend who deeply cares about everyone's thoughts, ideas, or feelings. With McKenna around, learning is a lot of fun and school feels like a safe place to make mistakes and try new things. McKenna we are so proud of the way you spread joy wherever you go!
3F- The Trojan Superstar for 3F in December is Maddox Rebling! Maddox is always one of the first ones to follow directions, and have his materials ready to go. He is always willing to participate in our class discussions, and express his ideas confidently. Maddox follows his Trojan Traits everywhere he goes, even if (he thinks …) no one is watching; he is a great role model for his peers. Thank you Maddox for showing us what a true superstar looks like!
3L- Our 3L Trojan Superstar for December is Paytience Black. Paytience has been such a great addition to our classroom family this year. She brings a bright smile into class each morning and is happy to greet everyone. Paytience models responsibility by putting her best effort forward on all her work, including her homework, and participating in class. She respects her classmates by listening attentively when others speak and taking turns when working in groups. Paytience is a model of safe choices in the classroom and on the playground. I am proud to say that Paytience is a wonderful example of Trojan Traits.
3R- Eli Aplara is a Trojan traits superstar in room 3R! He is a leader in so many ways. Eli is respectful by raising his hand to speak and listening attentively to students and staff alike. He is responsible by completing his work and helping others in need. He is safe by walking in the building and responding quickly to those around him. Eli is also someone that can bring a smile to anyone's face. He is an amazing helper in 3R and we are so happy to have him in our class. Thank you, Eli, for being our Trojan traits superstar!
4P- My Trojan Trait superstar for the month of December is Elliott Ward. She exemplifies our Trojan Traits throughout the day. She completes her work in a timely fashion and revisits any task for further discovery. I can rely on Elliott to be a helping hand both in my room and with her peers. I look to Elliott when I have an extra task needed to be completed. She walks in the hallways using her respectful attitude and always uses a responsible voice level for every activity. I count on Elliott to bring her joy into my room every day and she never disappoints. Thank you Elliott for being a role model for everyone!
4N- 4N's December Trojan Superstar is Alex Jo Steward! Alex is kind to everyone and they enjoy her humor. Her smile brightens our room and her positive attitude is contagious. Alex can be counted on to include everyone and make them feel appreciated. She has a great attitude toward learning. Alex believes in others and encourages them to get out of their comfort zones. She also believes in herself and has made leaps and bounds in her reading ability! Alex is not afraid to step up and be a leader in the classroom. Thanks for being inspiring, Alex Jo!
4F- My Trojan Trait Superstar for December is Asaa McCabe! Asaa pays attention during class, works hard, and is kind to others. He works well with any partner that is chosen for him and does his share of the work. Asaa is respectful in the classroom and follows rules. He models our Trojan Traits throughout the day, which I appreciate so much. Asaa comes to school with a positive attitude. He shows me that he is listening, trying his best, and learning! Asaa definitely deserves to be December's Trojan Trait Superstar!
4R- 4R's December Trojan Superstar is Annabella Anderson! Annabella is a role model no matter where she is. In the classroom she is always on task, raising her hand to speak, and listening to others as they speak. She never interrupts and is quiet in class. She is a kind, respectful, and nice to everyone all of the time. She always has a warm smile on her face. Annabella has a wonderfully positive attitude that can help brighten anyones' day. Annabella uses her leadership skills in the classroom when working with her peers by giving them a positive influence. Way to go Annabella keep up the spectacular work!
4T- My Trojan Superstar for December is Emma Forest! Emma is always paying attention during class and she is always kind to others. She's always respectful, responsible, and safe both in and out of the classroom. Emma is an excellent role model for her peers and others around her. She is always going above and beyond to help out in the classroom and I appreciate her help so much! She has a positive attitude doing anything that's asked of her. Emma is always trying her best no matter what the task is at hand. Keep up shining superstar! Congratulations!
