Trojans at Saturday tourneys
The Fairfield varsity team will be competing at the 33rd annual Grayhound Invitational Saturday in the Carl Johannsen Gymnasium in Burlington.
Fairfield will be joining Muscatine, Davis County and Burlington?s gray team in pool B. The other pool of teams includes Burlington?s purple team, Galesburg, Ill., Fort Madison and Mount Pleasant.

The Fairfield varsity team will be competing at the 33rd annual Grayhound Invitational Saturday in the Carl Johannsen Gymnasium in Burlington.
Fairfield will be joining Muscatine, Davis County and Burlington?s gray team in pool B. The other pool of teams includes Burlington?s purple team, Galesburg, Ill., Fort Madison and Mount Pleasant.
The Trojans kick off the tournament at 9:45 a.m. against the Mustangs. They will then face their other two opponents at 11:15 a.m. and noon to decide the championship bracket.
The JV squad, meanwhile, will be in Johnston for a tournament of their own. The Trojans have been grouped with Indianola, Carlisle and Johnston?s gold team in pool B. Games are set to begin at 9 a.m.
