Trombone artist to give library concert
On Thursday, March 10, the Washington Library will feature the upcoming Southeast Iowa Symphony artist-in-residence, Will Baker. Mr. Baker will be accompanied by pianist Cheryl Miller of Ottumwa.

On Thursday, March 10, the Washington Library will feature the upcoming Southeast Iowa Symphony artist-in-residence, Will Baker. Mr. Baker will be accompanied by pianist Cheryl Miller of Ottumwa.
Will Baker, a Chicago-based musician, is currently the bass trombonist with both The Des Moines Symphony and Orchestra Iowa. In addition to his jobs in Iowa, he has recently become an associate artist with the Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass, and performed with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago Brass Ensemble, as well as the Lake Forest Symphony.
The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra is led by Maestro Robert McConnell, a Washington native.
This special 30-minute concert begins at 12:15 p.m. and is free to the public.
