Tuesday Coffee Club

Betty Flynn was hostess to 14 members and one guest for Tuesday Coffee Club held on Dec. 2. Lunch was enjoyed at Xtreme Smokehouse Grill. A variety of sandwiches and side dishes were enjoyed. This was the club's first visit as a group, so it was interesting and tasty for the first-timers and those that had dined there before.

A lot of fun Thanksgiving stories were exchanged, having just celebrated Thanksgiving with families and friends. Maxine Klopfenstein graciously shared her recipe for homemade noodles. Her family is lucky to have her make noodles for most family gatherings. Being a longtime farmer's wife she has many excellent recipes; one favorites is her potato salad.

Special mention was made of those unable to attend, some traveling, some ill. Speedy recovery to Joyce was expressed by those present.

The next meeting will be held at The Pizza Ranch on Dec. 16 at 11:30 a.m. with the hostess being Mary Jane Shafer.
