Tuesday Coffee Club minutes

Tuesday Coffee Club met on Oct. 16, for lunch at Ainsworth 4-Corners restaurant. Sharon Niffenegger was hostess. Most in attendance enjoyed the chicken and mashed potato luncheon special. It was a great Fall lunch with good service.

Dorothy Weber shared a recent article from Our Iowa Magazine. Her husband and his brothers were all in the military as young men serving at the same time. Mr. and Mrs. John B. Weber were parents of 10 sons and four daughters. What an honor to have that many sons and have them all serve our Country. A tour through Marr Park was enjoyed by some of the members. The beautiful mowed grass and colorful trees along with two people enjoying fishing from the pond was entertaining on such a nice sunny day.

The next meeting will be held on Nov. 6, with Janet Farrier as hostess Lunch will be at Dino's in Washington at 11:30 a.m.
