Turkey Trot race set Nov. 19
The annual Turkey Trot sponsored by the Fairfield Park and Recreation Department will begin at 9 a.m. Nov. 19 at Chautauqua Park?s Shelter No. 1.
Check-in is at 8:30 a.m.
The event, split into a 5-kilometer fun run and 1-mile walk, is open for all ages. The course will head from the shelter house downhill toward Walton Club and will be on the Jefferson County Loop Trail.

Registration is $15 per person, and those who register by Nov. 11 will receive a T-shirt. Registration forms are available at the Roosevelt Recreation Center.
