Two blood drives planned in Mt. Pleasant

Mt. Pleasant Christian School will host a community blood drive from 3-6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, in its Multipurpose Room.
Donors who last gave blood on or before Aug. 27 are eligible to give at this drive.
For appointments to donate, contact Melissa Peiffer at 319-385-8613 or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 1245 to locate the drive.
Lincoln Elementary School will host a community blood drive from 3-6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, in the school gym.
Donors who last gave blood on or before Aug. 29 are eligible to give at this drive.
For appointments to donate, contact Samantha Johnson at 319-385-7765 or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 2876 to locate the drive.
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age, but 16 with a parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org, and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required. Call Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at 800-747-5401.
The MVRBC is the exclusive provider to Great River Health Systems, Henry County Health Center.
