Two volunteers needed for walking school bus
The Fairfield Community School District is seeing two adult volunteers for a Blue Zones walking school bus.
The adults will supervise a group of children walking to school on the five late-start Wednesdays in October. The group will leave from the Buchanan and Lantern apartments at Piece and Buchanan avenues and walk to Fairfield Middle School. The volunteers would work from 9:15-10:30 a.m.

To volunteer, call Fred McElwee, auxiliary services director, at 472-5252 before Sept. 24.
The district will process a background check and provide training.
